Raising your home is an intricate process that comes
with many questions for the homeowner. When you choose
Carpenter's Complete to raise your home you know you are
in good hands because we use our proven process to
guarantee success every time.
The Process:
Phase 1: We start with a complete inspection of your
home which allows us to identify any special needs that
might arise during elevation. Then we obtain the permits
needed to begin elevation.
Phase II: The second phase of the project is
preparing your home to be lifted. Then the elevation
begins with the Unified Jacking System. At this phase
you can decide the stucco color, style of steps and hand
rails for the home.
Phase III: The third phase of the process is the
installation of the pilings. These are what the house
will rest on once the home has been lifted. The home
will be attached to the pilings and all plumbing, AC,
gas and electrical will be installed to meet code for
the new elevation level of the home.
Phase IV: The footing is now poured around the
perimeter of the home to lock the exterior pilings in
place. Upon completion, concrete blocks will be placed
to fill the space between the footing and the original
foundation of the home. Stucco will then be placed on
the base of the home.
Phase V: The fifth and final stage of the process
includes install railings, site cleanup, and application
for an elevation certificated. After which the site will
pass a final inspection to be conducted by the parish.
Once the process is complete, you can enjoy your newly
elevated home. |
